Building
Christ the King Presbyterian Church meets at North Cross School in Roanoke, VA. However, we have an active Building Committee. This committee has been entrusted with the task of identifying and purchasing land in the southwest Roanoke County area for the purpose of building our own church facility.
Vision
We desire to be a church that:
- Is in SW Roanoke County.
- Is committed to campus ministry and college students.
- Is committed to church planting.
- Has a presence in our community. We want to be a church in this community, not hidden from it.
- Is committed to being a multiplying church rather than a mega-church.
Specifically, our plan is to identify and purchase property to build a church facility that would meet our ministry needs:
- A sanctuary that ultimately would seat 425-450.
- A multi-purpose room that could accommodate 350.
- Classrooms for children’s and adult Christian education classes.
- Space for our youth ministry.
- Office and conference room space to allow our various ministry teams a place to meet.
