Intro to CTK Seminar – Saturday, September 25th

Pastor Dunnington will conduct a one-day seminar for those who are interested in knowing more about CTK and/or possibly becoming members. The seminar will be held on Saturday, September 25th, from 9:30-2:30 at the church office: 2959 Electric Road, Suite 190. Lunch will be provided. Women’s Evening Bible Study—Wednesday, September 8th, 7 p.m.

On Wednesday, September 8th, the Women’s Evening Bible Study will meet for a Dessert Social to catch up on our summers and to choose a book to study this fall (please come with any suggestions you may have!). We will meet at 7 p.m. at Kristina Rutledge’s home. Beginning Wednesday, September 29th, the group will meet on alternate Wednesdays at that same time and location. Truth in Love Counseling Ministry

CTK is excited that a group is launching a Christian Counseling Ministry in the Roanoke area! We have offered our spare office space as a counseling room but we need to make it warm and inviting. Please contact Regina Maness at 342-8443 if you have any of the following items: 1 wing back chair, 1 floor lamp and 1 end table or if you can help move the furniture. Monetary gifts would also be helpful and appreciated.

Adult Sunday School—Labor Day Weekend

In lieu of Adult Sunday School September 5th join us for a time of fellowship and prayer at 9:30 in New Slack Hall. Children’s classes will be held as usual. Fall classes will begin September 12th.

Women’s Morning Bible Study—Thursdays, 9:15-11:00 a.m.

The Women’s Thursday Morning Bible Study will resume on September 23rd, at the Strelow home from 9:15 to 11:00. Childcare will be provided. Our topic for this year is a study of Paul Tripp’s excellent book: Relationships–A Mess Worth Making. There will be an opportunity to purchase this book if you are interested, but it is not required. Ed Natt Memorial Golf Tournament—Monday, August 23rd

The tournament to be held at Hidden Valley Country Club is a four-person Scramble. Proceeds will fund a memorial scoreboard in Ed’s honor and a scholarship fund for Young Life camps. Registration brochures and information on sponsorships are available at the Welcome Center.

Blue Ridge Women’s Center—Workday Saturday, August 14th
