The cross of Jesus Christ is our hope, our life, our purpose, and the power through which we come to give our lives more fully to His service.
The ivy woven throughout the cross communicates our commitment to being rooted in Christ and growing in grace. Growing in grace requires us to be dependent upon the work of the Holy Spirit as we pray, study the scriptures, partake of the sacraments, and worship God together. These “means of grace” help us to be consciously God-centered as we seek to grow in depth and breadth. And the more deeply we know God, the more effectively we serve Christ our King with our time, talents, and resources.
Perhaps least evident in the logo are the crowns that emerge from each point of the cross. These represent the reign of Christ our King, which we long to see extended thoroughly into the lives of as many people as possible.
When you look at our logo, think about its symbolism as you seek to understand the fullness of the gospel as it relates to your own life. May the cross come to shape your heart so that the reign of Christ emerges authentically in your life.
