Aaron Hofius— Associate Pastor
In May of 2000, Aaron married Andrea. They have been blessed with 3 daughters: Aurora (2002), Amaris (2004), and Aria (2006). While discussing and praying about ministry opportunities toward the end of seminary, Aaron and Andrea were excited to learn more about Christ the King and the church’s ministry in Roanoke. Through their move here, the Lord has returned Andrea to the city in which she lived as a child, and has brought the entire Hofius family into a new opportunity to enjoy and participate in His work here in the Roanoke Valley.

He is a "tentmaker" which means he currently has a full time job in software sales, while also serving on the Session and as Associate Pastor at Christ the King. Doug is a long time Roanoker and is thrilled to be part of the team at Christ the King with a vision for planting churches all over the Roanoke Valley.
Jake Gee - Youth Intern
Jake and Anna Claire Gee are both originally from the great state of Georgia. They met each other while attending different universities and they dated for four and a half years. Having waited for so long, they are now extremely happy to be married since June 20, 2008. Jake grew up in north Georgia and spent the majority of his life in the city of Canton. From there he went off to the University of Georgia where he received a B.A. in English studies. It was at the University of Georgia, through the ministry of Reformed University Fellowship, where he came to know Christ and began to feel God's call on his life for ministry to young people. Anna Claire grew up in Macon, Georgia but moved to downtown Atlanta to attend Georgia State University where she received her B.S. in Early Childhood Education. Although she would rather be teaching children, as it is her passion in life, Anna Claire is currently working at Starbuck's where she is able to enjoy another thing she loves--lots of coffee! They are both excited to be a part of Christ the King and to share in the work of redemption throughout the city of Roanoke!
