Andrew Martin

Andrew Martin

Andrew was born in Raleigh, NC to devoted Christian parents. His dad has served as a pastor, missionary, and Christian counselor, and Andrew spent six years of his childhood living as a missionary kid in Thailand.

After high school, Andrew left his hometown of Charlottesville, VA to attend the United States
Naval Academy. He graduated in 2008 and married his beautiful wife Heather. They spent the next six years living in Chesapeake, VA and Washington, D.C. while Andrew served on active duty in the U.S. Navy.

In 2014, Andrew transferred to the Navy Reserve and moved to St. Louis to pursue a Master of Divinity at Covenant Theological Seminary. After transitioning out of the Navy Reserve and graduating from Covenant, he and his family moved to Roanoke in May 2018 where Andrew now serves as the Youth Pastor at Christ the King. In this role, he is very blessed to help multiply and mature a community of Christian disciples who walk by grace as they love God and neighbor.

Andrew and Heather have been deeply blessed by their four children. As a family, they enjoy going for walks, riding bikes, visiting the playground, gardening, making Thai food, and spending time with family and friends.
