Tobias and his wife Ellie have been part of the CTK family since 2009, and he has served as one of its pastors since 2020. He holds an M.A. in Exegetical Theology from Covenant Theological Seminary. The rhythm of pastoral ministry is something Tobias genuinely loves — leading worship, opening Scripture in the weekly Bible study, teaching Sunday school, and preaching. But some of what he loves most is outside those structures, simply sharing life with the people of this congregation.
At home, Tobias and Ellie are raising five kids in a house full of conversation, music, books, and good shows. He has taught Latin for over twenty years and still finds the language endlessly rewarding. When he’s not in a text or around a table, he’s likely in the wood shop or out on his bike somewhere in the Roanoke hills.
